the error should only happen once you've already clicked "reply" if instead of hitting "reply" you press the "quote" button to the right of that person's post you want to quote you will start a reply with the quote in it. You can delete within the coding, the words that you don't want to quote. It sucks that an error occurs when you attempt to quote after you start a reply but this is a work around i've found that works fairly well.

It seems to be a bug with the theme you are currently using (Curve). All other themes do not have this issue. I will look into it.

Ok, so this error wont be fixed. The theme (Curve) is using older SMF coding. It was built for SMF forums running on 1.0.4. Our forum is running on 1.1.4 & the author of the theme never updated it. It seems it has been abandoned & nobody took over it. So you can either click "Reply" then click the  icon. Then just copy and paste the text from the person. I think this might have been the workaround Andrew was trying to say. Or just don't quote. Or switch themes. |
